Laura Langley Obituary

LANGLEY, Laura Laura M. Langley, 78, of Darlington died Wednesday, December 7, 2005. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the Trinity United Methodist Church, conducted by the Reverend Michael Bell and directed by KISTLER-HARDEE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in the Darlington County Memory Gardens. Mrs. Langley was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Robert Early and Susie King Matthews. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, the Phillips Sunday School Class and the Ethel Williamson Circle. Mrs. Langley retired from Pee Dee Electric Cooperative, Inc. She was a volunteer for many activities at Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Langley was predeceased by one brother, J. Michael Matthews. Survivors include her husband, L. Horace Langley, Sr. of Darlington, two sons, Leon H. (Bonnie) Langley, Jr. of Walterboro and Rodney (Judy) Langley of Darlington, one brother, Robert L. Matthews of Lake City, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 9, 2005 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
