Laura Lee Chandler Anderson MT. PLEASANT - Laura Lee Chandler Anderson, 76, wife of Barry Holt Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Services will be held at a later date in Williston, Florida. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Thursday, May 5, 2011, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Anderson was born on June 4, 1934, in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late Charles Lee Chandler and Laura Adair Dorsey Berry. She was a Registered Nurse and served in the United States Air Force. She is survived by her husband, Barry H. Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three children, Laura Lee Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Frances Carol A. Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and William David Anderson of Tampa, FL; three grandchildren, Grant Nathaniel Lewis, Ryan Matthew Anderson and William David Anderson, II; two sisters, Margaret Preville of Canton, MI and Kathryn Niemi of Mt. Clemmons, MI.; and two cousins, Jerry Partain Cone of Cumming, GA and Alton L. Dowd, Jr. of Decatur, GA. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Williston, 213 West Noble Avenue, Williston, FL 32696.
