To the Family: I was honored in meeting your intelligent, beautiful Son through a special friend of his and someone dear to my heart. I found Him to be very kind and lowly in spirit. I wish you all comfort through Christ Jesus. RIP Blake and know you made a difference. Well done.

To The Families: I was blessed in meeting your beautiful spirited son through a special friend to Blake and someone dear to my heart. I only wish I could have spent more time with Him, gotten to know him better. His leaving is a lost and disadvantage for me. RIP Blake. You obtained your purpose. Well done!

You were so passionate and inspired me in the little time I knew you. I will keep fighting for a more just society for people of color, the LGBT community, and for everyone. We will always remember you Blake. He was a great young guy and I hope everyone realizes how we need to create a more accepting world. Rest in power.

Prayers to you and your loved ones. I may not have known you other than passing etc, but your message is loud and clear. I will do what I can to create a better place for the LGBTQ community.

No one will ever truly know what burdens another person carries. I pray for your soul and I encourage your family to gain strength to continue to preaching the dream that you had here on earth. Please don't allow his passion and dream to die in vain. May you rest in peace and God take your soul and give you comfort.

To the Heyward and Brockington family my heart is deeply saddened for your lost. May god forever keep you and comfort you during your time of Bereavement. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Trust God and just ask him for strength daily.

Blake was an extraordinary young man with so much promise to make a phenomenal difference in this world. His struggles made him more empathetic with the plight of others and his heart lead him to fight for the underdogs. It is a mighty loss for our world here on Earth and a mighty gain for heaven above. Blake, you made a difference even when you didn't try to. My heart is heavy with sadness but full of pride just in knowing you this short while.

He was an inspiration to all those whose lives he touched. He was like a brother to me.

Blake was an amazing young man. My daughter thought the world of him. He was her Uncle Blake.
