Larry Simpson Obituary

SIMPSON, Larry Larry Dale Simpson, 60, of Summerville, SC died March 6, 2007 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a sales representative for the Dilmar Oil Company for nine years. He served in the United States Army and Army Reserve for eight years. Larry was born December 21, 1946 in Memphis, TN son of Willie B. Simpson and Johnnie Hoover Simpson. Surviving are his wife, Amy M. Simpson of Summerville, SC; two sons, Jeff D. Simpson of Byhalia, MS, Jason R. Simpson of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Tina S. Fritchey of Summerville, SC and Dawn S. Neal of Memphis, TN; a brother, Michael R. Simpson of Memphis and a sister, Linda S. McCoy of Arlington, TN. Also surviving are seven grandchildren. The family ask in lieu of flowers, memorials in Larry's memory be made to American Cancer Society, Trident Office, 267 Calhoun St., Charleston SC 29401 Arrangements were made through PALMETTO CREMATION SOCIETY.
