No words can express the heartbreak of you being gone not only from my life but from others. You always made a friend no matter where you were at. You had friends from all over. I am truly blessed to have had you in my life for the past many years, we have shared drinks, dinners, cookouts, laughs and tears. For those that really didn't know you, your passion for your children Chris and Heather was valuable and cherish time and you always took time no matter what to be with them. You were so proud of how they grew up and what they have accomplished. We all will miss you, We all love you! Go Rest 'Big Daddy'.. Thank you for all you did for all of us!

Gene was fun-loving adventurous and overall great friend and an especially great father. I wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with y'all, Heathér, Chris and Debbie. They say that time heals all wounds. But loosing a loved one so unexpectedly takes time to get over the shock and the loss. One day I hope you'll be able to smile and even laugh at all the good times and memories that y'all have shared. My prayer is that it happens sooner than later.
