Larry Linder Obituary

Larry Joseph Linder Summerville - Larry Joseph Linder, 68, of Summerville, SC, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018.I Memorial Services will be Saturday morning, March 10, 2018 at 11 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Because Larry was such a giving person, in lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to a local food bank or homeless shelter. Everyone who attends is invited to wear casual clothing to Larry's service. Larry was born January 27, 1950 in Houlton, Maine. He honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, and retired from the Blue Linx Company. He was the eldest son of Barbara P. Linder Dudley and James Westbury Linder, Jr., and was Catholic. He was a member of the Woodstock First Nation, which is a descendant of the Wulustukwiak (Maliseet) people of Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Margaret W. Linder, and three daughters, Lauryn "Ashley" Linder (Tony Norman), Margaret "Lisa" Mazzell, and Lorri C. Mazzell (Rich Cooper), all of Summerville, SC. He loved his family, with his greatest love being his four grandchildren, Skylar Linder, Draven "Joey" Leveille, Hannah Mazzell, and Devin Norman. He also loved all his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and numerous other family members. Larry was the eldest of ten children. Surviving siblings include Tucker Linder, Mark Linder (Lisa), Kenneth Linder (Penny), Johnny Linder (Dennesa), James Linder, III, Marvin Linder, Margie Linder, and Patricia Linder Gibson (Henry "Chopper"). He was predeceased by a sister, Millicent "Anne" Earnheart, and stepfather, Joseph Dudley.
