Larry Hixon Obituary

Larry Hixon N. CHARLESTON - Larry Roger Hixon, 69, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Carma Sedgwick Hixon, died Monday, November 28, 2011. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, December 3, 2011 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 11 o'clock. Burial will be at Plantation Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday evening at Parks Funeral Home from 6 - 8 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to National Wildlife Federation, 11100 Wildlife Center Dr., Reston, VA 20190. Mr. Hixon was born December 26, 1941 in Cleveland, OH, a son of the late Harold Thomas Hixon and Bertha Emerson Hixon. He was a US Air Force veteran of Vietnam, and a security guard for CGI. Survivors include his wife, Carma Hixon of North Charleston; one daughter, Yvette Geiger and husband Larry of New Port Richey, FL; two sons, Nolan Hixon of Chesapeake, VA, Jerrald Nahm and wife Kathy of Warren, Ohio; one brother, Gary Hixon and wife Delinda of Ridgeville; three stepbrothers, Wayne Logue of White Mountain, TN, Ronald Logue of Warren, OH, and James Logue of North Charleston; one stepsister, Darlene Logue of Youngstown, OH; five grandchildren, Matthew Hixon, Joseph Hixon, Samantha Rison, Ashley Nahm, and Guy Nahm.
