Larry Amos Grainger SUMMERVILLE - Larry Amos Grainger, 71, of Summerville, SC, passed on Friday, March 19th, 2021 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Larry was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud veteran. He lived his life bravely until the end, never complaining and only concerned with caring for his family and his dog, Toby. Larry was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the 199th Light Infantry Brigade in Vietnam. He also served the United States Navy as a rigger at both the Charleston Naval Shipyard and Detyens Shipyard. Larry is survived by Fran Grainger, his loving wife of 49 years; his son, John Grainger (Lisa); daughter, Lisa Grainger; grandchildren, Sierra Cook (Zach), Kayla Rozo (Juan), and Alex Grainger. You may visit with family on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral Home located at 281 Treeland Dr., Ladson, SC, 29456.
