Larry Fanning Obituary

FANNING, Larry Larry William Billy Fanning, 51, of Moncks Corner, SC, a former assistant for American Pipe, died Thursday in a N. Charleston hospital. The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday afternoon, Oct. 9, 2005, at the Graveside in Memorial Park Cemetery, Orangeburg, SC. Interment will follow. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM this Saturday afternoon. Mr. Fanning was born Aug. 18, 1954, in Charleston, SC, a son of Horace L. Fanning, Sr., and Nettie Oliver Fanning Brinson. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are, his father of Moncks Corner; his step father, Quincy O. Brinson of Moncks Corner; two sisters, Glenda Taylor of Moncks Corner and Darlene Colbourne of Goose Creek; a brother, H. L. Fanning, Jr., of Goose Creek; and several nieces and nephews. To the Fanning family I am very sorry for your lost I grew up with your family in Ferndale my maiden name was Darnell so I knew BILLY WELL AND I cared about your family alot.

I have just recieved news of Billy. I am sooo very sorry. I will miss him dearly. Billy was a good friend. A decent human being. Ive only known Billy through my ex Terry Wilson,But I have to say, he was heads above the rest.
