Laetitia Jones Raynal SUMMERVILLE - Laetitia Jones Raynal, 97, of Summerville, widow of Rev. Charles Edward Raynal, Jr, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at The Village at Summerville. She was a member of Summerville Presbyterian (USA) Church. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2 o'clock at The Village at Summerville. Mrs. Raynal was born on October 26, 1918 in Clinton, SC, ninth child of Frank Dudley Jones and Mary Catherine Wyman Jones. She received her undergraduate degree from Presbyterian College; her graduate degree from Clemson University and completed her Masters of Divinity at Cummings Theological Seminary. Survivors include 4 sons: Rev. Charles E. Raynal III of Davidson, NC, Dr. Dudley J. Raynal, PhD of Arlington, VA, Dr. Holbrook W. Raynal, M.D. of Clinton, SC, Rev. Gordon W.G. Raynal of Inman, SC, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Memorial gifts may be given to Presbyterian College, 503 S Broad Street, Clinton, SC 29325 or The Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, 2817 Ashland Rd., Columbia, SC 29210.
