I can't believe I just found out about Kris. I have stopped by the shop several times and just thought he wasn't home. He was incredibly talented and I have bought many pieces from him for myself and as gifts. He did some custom work for me a couple of times as well. I loved stopping by to talk with him about his art. He is certainly missed and my heartfelt Prayers are with his family and friends.

I only recently noted that the shop was closed and then found out of his passing. I was very saddened by this news. I enjoyed shopping in his store and have some of his pottery. He did beautiful work and seemed to enjoy making pottery. He was always friendly and kind and a nice person to talk to. I will definitely miss him and his store.

I began taking lessons with Kris when I relocated to Charleston from Connecticut in 2013. Over the next 2 and 1/2 years I learned to throw pottery and I learned all about Kris - he was kind and talented and funny - and an EXCELLENT teacher. Words cannot express the sorrow I feel.

I only recently learned that Kris is no longer with us, and I'm devastated. Since becoming friends at the local dog park, I always looked forward to seeing Kris and chatting with him about TV shows and life in general. I miss him, and my heartfelt condolences go out to Lola, Pepper, his friends, and his family.

I just learned of Kri's passing...the only thing I can say is that I am shocked and deeply saddened I taught pottery classes at Fire & Earth several years ago and considered Kris a friend and mentor. He was instrumental in my growth and education as a potter. What an incredible artist and a beautiful soul... he is sorely missed

My heart still hurts over Kris's passing. He was my neighbor, my friend, my pottery teacher, and a fellow dog lover. He was loved and will always be missed. Rest in Peace, dear Kris, until we meet again.

I just learned of Kris' passing and I am shocked and devastated. I knew Kris from the local dog park as he was a regular and so am I. His dogs Lola & Pepper were great friends of my dogs. Kris was always friendly and full of life, whether talking about the latest episode of his favorite show, doting on his pups or just asking how everyone's day was going. My sincerest condolences to Kris' family.
