King Burgess Obituary

BURGESS, King LAKE CITY - Funeral services for King Rufus Burgess will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at 2 p.m., at the Believer's Holiness Convention Center, Hwy. 52 North, Coward, SC. Rev. Franklin Fulmore, Pastor, of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Cades, S.C., will officiate and the interment will follow in the Savannah Grove Church Cemetery. He is survived by a wife, Margaret F. Burgess of the home; two sons, Lance K. Burgess of the home and Craig L. (Susie) Burgess of Newport News, Va.; four daughters, Cynthia (Jamison) Garrick, C. Nicole Burgess and Barbara McClary, all of Columbia, SC, Anissa (Brian) Clay of Tennessee; mother, Sepha Mae Burgess of Kingstree, SC; a sister, Mary Lee Fulton of Kingstree, SC; two brothers, Dave Burgess, Jr., of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Dale (Gail) Burgess of Atlanta, GA; five sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
