Kim DeLong Obituary

Kim Terry DeLong, 69, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away on February 1, 2026. She was born on January 9, 1957, in Saint Mary's, Ohio, to the late Roy E. DeLong and Koneta L. DeLong.

Kim earned her Associate Degree in Arts from Palm Beach Junior College and went on to work as an administrative assistant for a construction company. Kim loved her family. She enjoyed traveling, flowers, and found great joy in collectibles and decorating her home, especially during the holidays. Her home reflected her creativity, care, and love for making others feel comfortable. She was a faithful woman which guided her throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving sisters: Karen C. (DeLong) Conley and Kelly S. DeLong Cornwell (Steven); her nieces and nephews: Jamison F. Conley, Joshua S. Cornwell (Tina), and Amanda L. Cornwell Connell (William); her great nieces and nephews: Koneta A. Cornwell, Tristan B. Connell, Amirah S. Connell, and Shainey Carroll Smith (Nicholas); as well as a great great niece, Zaarah Smith.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 3:00pm at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485.
