I remember when I first met Sensei Kevin, he was a 3rd Dan Black Belt, very humble and funny, professional when teaching me and the other students. I earned my Shodan 1st Dan Black Belt under his instruction, I earned my other Black Belts from other teachers. Sensei Kevin was my first formal teacher and I miss him dearly as his family does. My deepest condolences go to his family and I´m working on starting a dojo in my community in his honor. OSU Sensei, Rest in Peace

Many years later and not a month passes without me thinking of this man and the lessons he taught. The best martial arts instructor and mentor I've had over dozens of schools and disciplines.
A good Sensei really changes you permanently.

My friend, my Sensei, my martial brother, It is very hard to wrap my head around that fact that you are no longer sharing this existence with us. Your kind, gentle spirit will be greatly missed but will always be a part of us. Thank you and may God hold you close.

OSU,
Day by day I think of you Sensei Kevin.
It makes me think of you when you first begin your Karate journey.
How can all of this be true?
You're really gone.
You will sadly be missed but not forgotten.
Your students will remember your leadership
And I your growth in the Dojo.
Your life has impacted all those around you with your compassion
And your strong positive attitude.
My prayers and thoughts are with your family and your Dojo's family.
I know you're always in the heart of your family and your students.
So now I guess this is Goodbye.
Rest in Peace.

The success story of our life is not made up of the accomplishments, accolades or the personal property that we accumulate during life.
The TRUE measurement of our life is the positive impact we make on those lives that we come into contact with during our journey.
Sensei Kevin's strong character, considerable leadership abilities, caring attitude & willingness to teach others allowed him to make a considerable contribution to those that he came in contact with during his journey thru life.
During the almost 25 years that I had the pleasure of knowing him, he had a tremendous impact on my family and myself, as well as, countless others.
The amount of lives Sensei Kevin impacted is truly immeasurable!
His life is a true success story!!
I am very proud to have known him and called Sensei Kevin my friend!! My prayers go out to his entire family. I pray that they will be comforted as well as Blessed in the days ahead.
