Kevin Dahl Obituary

Kevin Dahl SUMMERVILLE - Kevin J. Dahl, 96, of Summerville, SC, passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Kevin was a northern New Jersey native, born March 19, 1927, son of Harry and Martha Cashman Dahl. He graduated with honors from Kent State University and was an Army Intelligence Officer in Germany during the Cold War with Russia. He started his business career in pharmaceuticals. After several years, he entered the publishing business in New York and retired after a successful 30 year career. Kevin is survived by his wife of 30 years, Berta; sons, Stephen (Caryn) and Andrew (Nancy); daughters, Noreen Feuer (Stu) and Lorraine Hamstra (Ross); ten grandchildren, Amelia, Hannah, Erin, Kirsten, Greg, Natalie, Michelle, Dale, Nadine, and Grant; and a great-granddaughter, Louisa living in Paris, France. He was an avid tennis player, participating in numerous tournaments on Marco Island, FL and Bradenton, FL, where they lived for over 20 years. Kevin was a true NY Yankee and NY Giant fan and never lost hope for their return to the World Series and the Super Bowl. Kevin and Berta have had a very happy life together, traveling extensively throughout Europe, Asia, South America, United States, and Canada. His great enjoyment was remembering their travels together creating a series of albums highlighting their trips. Memorial Services will be at a later date.
