Kevin Michael Baker JAMES ISLAND - Mr. Kevin Michael Baker, 33, of James Island, SC, entered into God's rest on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. The relatives and friends of Kevin M. Baker are invited to attend his memorial services on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at James Island Presbyterian Church, 1632 Ft. Johnson Road, James Island, SC 29412. Kevin was born January 7, 1981 in Charleston, SC, the son of Michael Baker and Teresa "Terri" Tokarczyk Baker. He was a graduate of Middleton High School and attended Trident Technical College. Kevin was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying snowboarding, playing league kickball, hunting, fishing and boating. He has an amazing group of cherished friends whom he dearly loved. He was a residential contractor and a member of the Charleston Sports and Social Club. Kevin is survived by his parents: Michael Baker and Terri Baker of James Island, SC; a sister, Katherine Baker Laing of James Island; niece, Mallory Laing; girlfriend, Teri Zeigler of James Island, SC; maternal grandparents: Stan and Anne Tokarczyk of Charleston, SC; paternal grandmother, Laura Baker of Aiken, SC; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
