Kenneth Todd Obituary

Kenneth Todd CHARLESTON - Kenneth Todd was born in Horry County, SC on October 25, 1951. He passed into eternal rest on Monday, September 13, 2021, at 7:40am with his wife and children by his side after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Constance Cloer Todd; his sons and daughter: Harry Todd, Lane Todd, and Elle Todd. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Goldberg and father, Paul Goldberg; sisters: Cynthia F Costa (Louis E. Costa), Ina Goldberg Leonhirth (Lance Leonhirth), Karyn Goldberg; and brother, Mark Goldberg. Kenny's birth father, Frank Todd, being from Horry County gave him extended family there who shared our love for him. Kenny grew up in downtown Charleston and remarkably maintained friendships with many friends from playing on the Moultrie playground. His family later moved to James Island, he graduated from James Island High School, where he also maintained friendships with many high school friends. Kenny was affectionately known as KT by his family, friends and most who knew him. He had a great love of friends and family, golfing, fishing, gardening and music. As an alumni of The University of South Carolina, he was an avid fan of the Gamecocks. He formerly owned and managed several hair shops was owner of Cape and Isle Awnings. Kenny was a member of Seacoast Church, as well as many years at James Island Christian Church. His love for the Lord was a source of great strength through many trying times. He held the brotherhood of believers close to his heart. He was a long standing member of the Exchange Club of Charleston. Please join us for his funeral at Seacoast West Ashley on Saturday, September 18th, at 2pm. The family will have visitation beginning at 1pm at the church. Connie and family, We were so sad to hear of Kenny´s passing but he is in a better place where we long to join him. Even though we haven´t seen him since our James Island Christian Church days, we will always remember his joyful spirit and kind heart. Both Kenny´s and your friendship was a blessing to us and we are praying that the Lord will carry you through these days and give you strength. Sending you all love and hugs.

My deepest heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this truly sad time.
I've never met Kenny but was afforded the great blessing of corresponding with him on facebooks private messenger. Oh how I enjoyed our texted conversation.
I've learned so much from Kenny, of which two words come to mind, "GRACE and HUMBLENESS."
Those two words carry a heavy load and are ever-present in our day to day lives. I will never forget you dear friend. Go rest ye high on that mountain, your work on earth is done...

KT and I played a lot of golf together over the years, especially the old Friday Skins Games at the Muni. He was a good friend and a lot of fun. I will miss him a lot. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Although we haven't been in touch with Kenny since childhood, Lynda and I have fond memories of our play time with Kenny, Joey, Teddy and Timmy. The boys always made the day more exciting. I just want to let everyone in the family know we care and are sending you all love and strength in this time of loss.
Love,
Dale
