Ken and his wife were our neighbors in Mt. Pleasant for many years before they became ill. I particularly remember his wry sense of humor. He was a joy to be around and always made me smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.
Love,
Mary & Alton Hutto

My Uncle Ken was one of the most important men in my life. He became my "Dad" when my Dad passed away in 1953 and he has always been there for me.
He attended functions in school as my Dad---Father/Daughter breakfasts, graduations from high school and college and he walked me down the aisle. He became the uncle/grandfather to my three daughters, whom he loving called "his knees". He and Auntie Bootie attended all of their weddings and lived to see most of their children
Ken Rutledge was truly a heo in my life. I loved him and will miss him dearly. May he be at perfect peace.
