Kenneth "Ken" Michael Owens Summerville - Kenneth "Ken" Michael Owens, 61, of Summerville, husband of Donna Owens, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018, from 1 o'clock until hour of service at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 2 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa FL 33607. Ken was born on July 20, 1957, in Columbia, SC, son of Joyce Owens and the late Sam Tillman Owens, Jr. He was a Past Master of the Strict Observance Masonic Lodge. He loved golfing and was a racing and Classic car enthusiast. Survivors including his wife, Donna; and mother, Joyce Owens Baldwin (J.C.); are: one son: Matthew Owens (Madelon) of Goose Creek; one daughter: Heather Renee Owens (Seth Jolly) of North Charleston; four grandchildren: Madison, Graham, Christian and Bella Fae; one sister: Jeanine Owens Edmondson of Johns Island; two brothers: Sam Tillman Owens III of Lexington and Mark Alan Owens (Felicia) of Wichita, KS.
