Papa, no one told me in time for me to make it to your service; it´s one event I truly wish I could´ve attended. You were my favorite person, when I found out you were gone I was devastated. But I know in my heart you´re with Jesus now, and now that I´m back in South Carolina, I am constantly reminded of you. When I see cardinals I think of you and I´ve even dreamt of you. I love you and I miss you very much.

Sorry to hear about Kenny. He was my good friend at MUSC. We spent many nights together studying for tests at his
House on Calhoun st. We lost touch over the years as I left MUSC and graduated pharmacy school at Auburn. He will be surely missed. Prescription Center and my dads store(Charleston Cut Rate Drugs) were there to start our careers.

A special farewell to my father; he will always be in my heart and I will always remember the good times that we had while I was growing up. I could not have a better dad.

I will always love you, Dad.

Debbie, I do appreciate your kindness and for making sure that he was happy in the last few years.

Debbie,
I am so sorry to hear of Kenney`s death. I know it was very difficult for you. How wonderful it was that God brought the two of you together after many years. I know he was so happy to have you in his life as much as you were to have him. It was a nice surprise to find out he married my high school classmate. Kenny was a very special cousin and I thought alot of him and have some special memories of spending time with him when we were younger. My prayers are with you and your family and may God comfort you always!

To Debby and the Ducker family
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Kenny’s death. I always enjoyed our conversations about history. I was always happy to see his smiling face at the pharmacy. Please take comfort in the fact that: Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Debbie,

I was saddened to hear of your loss. I know how much Ken meant to you after the circuitous route that brought you both back together. It is a wonderful story and a blessing that you were able to have a time (although shortened) 'together'.

You will continue in my thought and prayers. ~ Alan Carter

Dear Miss Debbie and family,
I just want to let you know that I am so shocked and sorry to hear about Mr. Kenny's death. Late last night, Matt asked me if I knew of a gentleman down the street from the townhouse I used to live in...and of course, I immediately said Mr. Kenny. He told me that he heard from Don that Mr. Kenny had passed away, and I immediately ran down the street to Don and Tammy's house to check to see if it was in fact Mr. Kenny. You have no idea how much I hurt for you and your family.

You two were my "Notebook couple". When I first moved into the neighborhood, you two were the first to introduce yourselves and welcome me! I remember Mr. Kenny helping me fix my car. I am forever grateful for all of your kindness! Please know that I love you, and I love Mr. Kenny, and I am so sorry to hear of this loss. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help out.

I am only right down the street!
