Kenneth Blaton Obituary

BLATON, Kenneth LAKELAND, FL - Mr. Kenneth Blaton, 69, passed away peacefully August 26, 2008, at his home after a long illness. Mr. Blaton was born in Lake City, a son of the late Walter Blaton and the late Beatrice Feagin Blaton. He moved to Lakeland thirty years ago from Charleston, SC. He was a painter and of the Church of God faith. Survivors include his close companion, Mary Rodman of Lakeland; two brothers, Dewey Blaton and Shelly Blaton, both of Lakeland; and a sister, Edith Sumner of Charleston, SC. Visitation for Mr. Blaton will be held from 12 1 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2008 in the funeral home. Graveside services for Mr. Blaton will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2008 in the Strickland-Feagin Cemetery, Lake City. BROCKINGTON FUNERAL HOME, Lake City, is in charge.
