Kenneth Beacham Obituary


BEACHAM, Kenneth Kenneth C. Beacham, 59, St. Augustine, FL died March 10, 2007. He was born in Ontario, Oregon and had resided in St. Augustine for the past 15 years, moving here from Charleston, SC. He was retired from the Washington, D.C. fire department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and he was a member of the Sports Car Club of America. Memorial services will be held 3:30 PM Saturday March 24 at Evan Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM Saturday until the hour of service. He is survived by two daughters, Karen Leavy, Odenton, Maryland, Kelly Fox, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; his mother, Darlene Beacham, Metaline Falls, Washington; three brothers, Jerry Beacham, Metaline Falls, Washington, Tim Beacham, Ione, Washington, Michael Beacham, Metaline Falls, Washington; two sisters, Jill Parker, Blaine, Washington, Pam Dietrich, San Jose, CA; and two grandsons, Brandon Leavy and Colin Leavy. It was my pleasure to know and date Ken for over a year, both here and in St.Augustine. Ken never met a stranger and when his boat was at Wild Dunes he was affectionately known as the Mayor of F Dock. He had a smile and personality that would brighten any room. He will be missed.
