I'm so sorry for the lost ya'll have just had to face. You have our deepest sympathy. My aunt just passed away from cancer, the week after Thanksgiving, and as much as it was shock, and hard to face, I had to look at it in the way that she wont have to suffer and pretend everything was okay for another day. I wish you the best of luck, as I know this is no easy thing to face, be strong. Thanks for everything you've taught me in the past, and just look at the better times ya'll have had together.

With sadness I read of Keith's passing, but it is with great joy that I think of him in his Heavenly home! As a cousin to my cousin (Warren) in a small family, Keith was like "extended family" and his sucesses in life were viewed with great pride and happiness for him and his family.

I first met Keith when I started my internship at channel 5, late 1985. A few months later, I was hired as a camera operator for the new morning show. I had the opportunity to joke between commercials and sometimes, newscasts with him. I was a 19yo kid working in tv and radio and Keith was so encouraging. He would tell me stories of his days in radio and I ate it up. When I decided to leave tv for radio, Keith understood my decision. I saw him years after I moved to larger markets and he was just as encouraging. Keith was such a positive force at the start of my career. I've always appreciated his support and willingness to give advice. My prayers are with his family. Please know how thankful I am to have had him in my life at such an important time. Be well.

I did not Keith personally, but know him from the years of watching him at live five news. I met him a couple of times when channel 5 was at events. He always made the weather enjoyable to watch. I felt a loss when he left the news. It has not been the same.
I am truly sorry for your loss and the pain you must feel. But he fought a couragous battle and god has called upon him to now conduct the weather from heaven and look down upon his family and keep them safe. Just know that he is at peace and someday you will all be togther again

Our hearts are saddened over the loss of Keith. When he had to give up his job as THE weatherman on WCSC, the weather report was never the same. As we watched him, each & every day, we could tell he loved what he did by the way he presented the weather forecast. One could also tell what a loving, caring, and gentle soul he was and still is, as he walks the streets of gold with Jesus.

God needed another angel and that's why he called Keith home.

I worked with Norma for years at Southern Bell (Bellsouth) (AT&T) Keith and i shared the same birthday year and month. Norma you always made things cheerful for us at work. I have missed you over the years since we retired.

I met Keith about two years ago while doing some computer work. I was so impressed by his intellect and warmth for others. If I had not grown up watching him, I would have never known what a high profile individual he was. His love of his family and church impressed me. Not a conversation went by that he didn't praise his wife and brag about his accomplished daughter. He loved you both very much. During his first battle with cancer, I would sometimes call him to talk. Again I was amazed by his upbeat nature and sense of humor. I feel honored to count him among my friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you but know that he is in a better place and smiles down on you each day.

To the Nichols' Family, I was saddened to hear about the lost of Keith. I thought he was a wonderful TV personality and missed seeing him from the newscast. May your memories of him give you great comfort.

Mr. Nichols was one of WCSC's icon who will be missed from the community. I, like many became use to seeing him present the weather on Live5. His voice will forever ring among his fans and those that shared his kindness and compassion. We loved him, but you know God loves his best.

I have memories in my pocket.

I didn't know Keith personally but through watching him on tv I felt like I got to know him. He seemed to be an upstanding guy. He really cared about the people of the low country and gave his all on the telethons he worked. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him or grew to know him through television. Beth and Kristy--I was so saddened to hear of Keith's death as I was watching the news on Sunday night. Your family has always been very special to me. Many times over the last year I have thought of ya'll and wondered how Keith was doing. And even though I am sure ya'll will miss him tremendously remember he is now free of pain and well again.I love you all and if there is anything I can do Beth please let me know.. Mrs. Nichols, my daughter has muscular dystrophy and we got to know Keith through the Jerry Lewis Telethon each year. His donation of time and energy has saved countless others battling the neuromuscular dystrophys and we just wanted you to know how much he has been missed since his leaving Channel 5. He will always be a hero to us. Thank God his suffering has ended. May God give you strength during this time.

I met Keith over 15 years ago. He was looking for an automobile for his wife. I was working at McElveen and we hit it off right away. In the years to follow, we often did not see each other for months at a time, but when we did finally reconnect, we had many things to talk about and to share. I had a very deep respect and admiration for a man that I believed and still believe was honest and sincere and a great lover of life. He was a great friend and confidant and I will miss him very much. May God bless you all in your time of sorrow.

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
