Kathleen W. Williams SPRINGFIELD, SC - Graveside Funeral Services for Kathleen White Williams, 99, formerly of Springfield, SC will be two p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Williams' Family Cemetery, Springfield, SC. Memorial contributions may be given in Mrs. Kathleen's memory to the Springfield First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 368, Springfield, SC 29146 or the Williams' Family Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 127, Springfield, SC 29146. The family would like to extend an appreciation to the faculty and staff of the C Wing at Sandpiper Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility, Mt. Pleasant and also Piedmont Hospice. The family appreciates all of the kindness shown to Mrs. Kathleen while she has been in their care. Mrs. Kathleen passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017. Born in Springfield, SC she was the daughter of the late Frank White and Pearl Hydrick White and was the widow of Woodrow W. Williams. She was a 1936 graduate of Springfield High School, retired from Salley Manufacturing Company and was a member of the Springfield First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters Janet Kathleen Hafner (Jack) of Townville, SC, Rebekah Jean Beaman (Dan) of Charleston, SC; a son Byron Williams, MD (Furman) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren Brooks Hafner (Doria), Matthew Hafner (Kelly), Mayfield W. Brusca (Mike), Catherine Williams; step grandson Chris Stone (Heather); eight great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
