One thing I remember, after decades, is that when my dear Aunt Casey and my mother, Marjorie, got together, they would always compare their clothes and Casey would ask, "Who's it by?" - the brand. Just one of many fond memories. I can still picture Casey in my mind and hear her voice.

Kay,

I wanted to let you know that Mom (Lil Saenz), Caitlin, and I dearly miss you this Christmas season. Caitlin cried and cried yesterday on Christmas Eve because she misses you so much. Mom really misses your talks on the phone. You were a true friend to her. I appreciate that and you. We have been praying for you and your family since you have passed on. I know down deep in my heart that a generous and kind-hearted person like you are no longer in pain. I told Caitlin this and she felt much better. We love you and miss you.

Kay,

Mom (Lil Saenz) and I will dearly miss your humor, jokes, and stories. It is very sad not to hear of mom exclaiming that she talked to you like you two did for hours on the telephone. You were her outside connection to the world through your endearing friendship that you both shared. You were so kind to call her after she started to stay home more because of her disability as well as visit her while she was in the hospital. You were also always willing to help me out whenever I was in a bind in caring for her. You were a great friend to her, and she and I will always remember the kindness that you showed towards her. She also misses the fun that you two always had at Bingo!

She is hurting deeply at losing you as I am. You and your loved ones will be in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for being such wonderful friend to Mom as well as my Confirmation Sponsor (aka Godmother) and friend to me. We love you and will deeply miss you.
