MITCHELL-ROBINSON The relatives and friends of Mrs. Kathleen Mitchell-Robinson are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday, May 12, 2008 11:00 AM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Rivers Ave. North Charleston, S.C. Interment : Brownsville Cemetery Summerville, SC. Mrs. Mitchell-Robinson is survived by her parents, Rev. Heyward Cordes and Ms. Anna Hutchinson; her children, Ms. Natausha Yvette Mitchell and Ms. Arrika Symone Mitchell; her grandchildren, Jerod Leon Tucker, Matthew Jerome Tucker, and Christopher Alexander Tucker (Leon Tucker, Jr.); her siblings, Mrs. Patricia Williams (David), Mrs. Vanessa Irick (John Henry), Mrs. Debbie Green (Albert), Ms. Sindy Hutchinson, Ms. Valerie Williams, Mr. Kenneth Hutchinson, Mr. Micheal Hutchinson (Annie), and Mr. Freddie Hutchinson (Essie); her aunts and uncles, Mrs. Nellie Watson (Havey), Ms. Thelma Wright, Mrs. Sadie Tucker (Nathaniel), Mrs. Gertrude Myers (Lonnie), Mr. Richard Hutchison, and Ms. Barbara Ann Samuels; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing for Mrs. Mitchell-Robinson will be on Sunday, May 11, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 PM at William Smith Memorial Chapel 2 Radcliffe Street Charleston, SC. There will be no family hour. Family and Friends,
Please accept my deepest sympathy during this time of sorrow. I met Kathy when I attended my first meeting for the local Facility Security Officers back in 2000. I had often sat and spoken with Kathy during security meetings or briefings over the years. I always felt this full sense of grace and class from her along with a sweetness of heart. She will not be forgotten. May your memories always comfort you......

To Tarsha,Arrika, Ms.Anna and the Hutchinson Family. Kathy was a very beautiful and special Young lady whom we all love very much. I have known Kathy most of my life and the GERMANTOWN Community will never be the same. I will never forget the good ole times in our neighborhood. I have been Kathleen's neighbor for 3 years. I remember the first day I came to my home, my son and I was doing yard work and Kathleen walked over. She was the first person to politely welcome me to the community. Over the years I observed a well dressed sophisticated woman go through her days with such grace, class, jazz, wit and charm. Kathleen always had a smile on her face…

Kathy, I knew that I hadn't seen you in church, then there were days that I thought I saw you, then I saw your name on the healing and recovery list but did not want to believe it was you. You were always in my thoughts and prayers. I remember the first time we met and the last time we spoke (thank you for the memories). I thought about you so much in February that I emailed you, here's that email:
