Aunt Katherine was like a second mom to me and I loved her very much. I'm so glad I went to see her last week and was able to tell her how much she meant to me. My sympathy goes out to her siblings, children and grandchildren who will all miss her dearly. She fought cancer for over 15 years so she could spend more time with us all. I know we have another angel looking over us now. RIP Aunt Katherine

My heart is heavy for the loss of my beautiful Aunt Katherine. Prayers of peace and comfort for all of the family. So many of my life memories include happy times with my Aunt Katherine and Gamma, playing SkipBo and eating egg rolls and boiled peanuts. I am so thankful for the time and talks I had with her.
Love, Michael

Dear family, I am so sorry to hear of your earthly loss. She leaves you such a rich heritage of love, an example of true unconditional love. Aunt Katherine was one of the strongest loving women I've ever known. She met so much adversity in her life with such grace. I enjoyed every visit, she could tell memorable stories as good as anyone I know. I especially enjoyed the stories of her and my Mother, Phoebe, in their younger days. As has been stated by many, she loved her family and made them her life. She was so faithful to also include the Cripe family in her and Freida's life and continued to think, treat, and love us as her family throughout the years. We are all the better for knowing and being loved by her.

Grandma Fulford was an amazing women who demonstrated the importance of family and that you didn't have to be blood to be apart of the family . She always treated me like one of her grandchildren and was always so loving. I loved our many conversations, Sunday brunches , and holidays spent together . She was always willing to lend a hand and think of others before herself . I am so happy I got to spend the last month of her life with her and tell her how much she meant to me because even though she wasn't blood I still consider her family . My condolences to the family , I know she was truly loved and will be forever missed !
