Karl Schwartz Obituary

Karl Harwood Schwartz Mt. Pleasant - Karl Harwood Schwartz, 60, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016. A memorial service will be held at a later date with military honors. The family will receive friends in by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL one hour prior to the service. Karl was born March 16, 1956 in Oxnard, California, son of Patricia Joan Cunningham Schwartz and the late Howard Muzzie Schwartz. He graduated from Wando High School and served in the United States Air Force. Karl worked as a custom carpenter in the Charleston area. He loved to fish, surf, ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and walk his black and white shepherd, Shadow for 14 years and for the past 6 years he walked his boxer, Sugar Ray. He was a selfless man and was a hard worker, taking care of his family and always helping people. He is survived by son, Keith Schwartz of McClellanville, SC; three brothers, Gary Schwartz, Terry Schwartz and Michael Schwartz; two sisters, Michelle Parker and Jackie Shehen; two grandsons, Gavin William Schwartz and Matthew Gabrielle May and niece, Calista Schwartz.
