My dear Lillian and family,
I am sadden to hear about Gene's death. I regret that in my own grief, I was unable to come see you both earlier this year. I have very kind and gentle memories of our families interactions from my childhood. The Miller family will always have Mom & Dad's wedding pictures - holding Mom, Dad, & Gene (as the best man) likenesses in their younger years.
Lillian, I know you are heartbroken and relieved all at the same time. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you always. it was good to see you in January at Mom's memorial service in Charleston. It is hard to lose a cherished loved one. I wish I could have been there for you!
All my best -
Dianne

Karl was such a kind and thoughtful gentleman. We knew him primarily at rehab and he always had a smile and a kind word. His sense of humor was contagious It has been a blessing knowing him. Prayers to the Family.

I've been blessed to have been given the pleasure of providing home care for Mr Salvo. Although our time spent was brief it was a privilege. The love that filled his room and is displayed from his wife, daughters/spouses, and grandsons spoke volume for him. I say to the family, continue lifting up his memories and loving one another.
Thank you for allowing Tameka and myself to be a part of this great celebration of life.
Be bless

Mr. Salvo was one of the finest men I have known in Charleston. Every time I would see him he was a smiling. He enjoyed many friends and he enjoyed paying attention to others needs! It was a true joy to see him and to be his friend.

Gene was one of my all-time favorite people. Oh, how I enjoyed joking with him and talking about the Carolina Gamecocks. My life is richer for having known him and shared so many experiences with Gene and the entire family.

What a wonderful husband, father and friend he was! He always had a terrific smile and laughter. His favorite expression was "peachy Keen"
and I shall always remember with fondness his love of everything South
Carolina and the Atlanta Braves!
Rest in heaven dear friend. Love you
