Karen Stout Obituary

Karen Elaine Stout HANAHAN - Karen Elaine Stout, 64, of Hanahan, SC, widow of Albert Aurthur Stout, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to the service. Karen was born June 26, 1959 in Abington, PA, daughter of the late John Edward and Marion Mackey. She was a registered Nurse and a school bus driver. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir, and also talking to her friends on the phone. She is survived by her niece, Edith May Warren (Jeff) of Summerville, SC; nephew, Andrew Clark of Goose Creek, SC; two great-nephews, Philip Stout and Zachary Warren; great-niece, Mackenzie Warren; and sister-in-law, Luvinna May Stout of Goose Creek, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, brother-in-law, Edwin Carl Stout, Jr. and great-nephew, Jeffrey Scott Warren, Jr. Memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 508 Hampton Street, SU 200, Columbia, SC 29201.
