Karen Stout Obituary

Karen Elaine Stout HANAHAN - Karen Elaine Stout, 64, of Hanahan, SC, widow of Albert Aurthur Stout, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to the service. Karen was born June 26, 1959 in Abington, PA, daughter of the late John Edward and Marion Mackey. She was a registered Nurse and a school bus driver. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir, and also talking to her friends on the phone. She is survived by her niece, Edith May Warren (Jeff) of Summerville, SC; nephew, Andrew Clark of Goose Creek, SC; two great-nephews, Philip Stout and Zachary Warren; great-niece, Mackenzie Warren; and sister-in-law, Luvinna May Stout of Goose Creek, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, brother-in-law, Edwin Carl Stout, Jr. and great-nephew, Jeffrey Scott Warren, Jr. Memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 508 Hampton Street, SU 200, Columbia, SC 29201. I´d known Karen since age 5in Kindergarten We went all through school together. I hadn´t seen her in years unti reuniting through FaceBook. It was like we were never apart. One of the sweetest human beings anyone could be blessed to know. May she be resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord. I´ll miss you always Karen. Love Rose

Will never forget our favorite songs in choir.. Beulah Land, I´ll Fly Away, and Little is Much. And every time I think of them, I will always be reminded of Mrs. Karen! What a sweet reunion in Heaven yesterday! Love you and will miss you!!
