To my Family,
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters rear and be troubled, though the mountains shake with it'sswelling. The Lord of host is with us, The God of Jacob is our refuge. Psalms 46 1-7
The face of the Lord is against those wo do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cryout, and the lord hars and delivers them out of all of their troubles.
Psalm 34:16-18
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

May God continue to strenghten
you and keep you.
Love Always,& Forever,
Nedra Wilson

To my childhood friends & classmates: It's times such as this that we become one. I can't say I know the suffering of the loss of a child, but I do know the power of the Lord, and if you purge yourself in his power he will give you a new hope and understanding. So keep looking to the hill which CAN and WILL keep you. Your sister in the Lord.

To my son and his family,
Kareem, Aneesaha, Hasan, Sakinah and Kareema. My heart is so heavy for your lost. Lil Kareem was such a sweet and humble person as a child and young adult. Only God knows your hurt, anger and pain. And in time, only God will heal it. Know that only miles separate
us in the physical. I am with you always in the spirit. Hang in there and remember his beautiful
smile.
Love Always,

Souls Do Not Disintegrate and Die

Souls do not disintegrate and die:
Years pass and yet they do not fade away.
Memories are like a distant star
Pouring forth its light across the void.
All our tears and laughter do not lie:
Though we pass like dreams, our spirits stay,
Held fast by love, which is just what we are,
Yet in a form that cannot be destroyed.

My deepest sympathy goes out to your family from mine in your time of grief. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God continue to give you strength. Be strong and be there for one another doing this hard time. I remember Reem from Burke High School when we were in a couple of classes together. Once I started to know Reem, he started to become my friend. Reem give me the name "Big Yetta" and I grew to like it. Reem was the type of person who wouldn't let you down. Reem use to always come on Race St. to be with his friends so he can laugh, joke and have fun. Reem was their when my mother past last year to show respect and to see if I was alright. I will do the same for him. I will I will always remember Reem as a funny, kind, sweet, and honest and a laughable person that he was and still is. Reem was known by some and will be missed by many. He may be gone but he never be forgotten. Race St. will never be the same without you, Reem. We'll keep smiling and laughing for you like you never left.

Rest in Peace, My Loved One, Rest in Peace

Rest in peace, my loved one, rest in peace,
Eternally, essentially at rest.
Sleep the sleep of those who do not dream,
The dark oblivion that knows no pain.
Interred within my heart, you will remain
Neither fixed nor flowing with the stream,
Part me, part you, part child by angels blessed,
Embraced by those in whose arms sorrows cease.
All my wakeful nights, my days distressed,
Called to account, your slumber will redeem,
Even as I haunt you once again.

As the poem's title Rest In Peace. The beginning letters reads "Rest In Peace."

To Aneesah & Kareem,
Words cannot describe the grief I feel for you and your family. Please be assured that when God is ready for his own there is nothing we can do to stop him from taking them back home with him, young, old, He has no limit on age. Be thankful for the time you shared with Kareem and know that you will see him again in the Heavenly home.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
