He was, no he is my godchild. We share not the Name only. In my Heart he is growing still and i wish i could tell him my feelings about hes last years. I love you and see you sitting with youre youre Dad on the Porch having a Jäger shot. Will be with you guys very soon. Go rest High on that Mountain. Onkel Kai

Kai will never truely leave us-He lives on by the love he brought into our lives, the comfort he shared and the caring he has shown to so many of us. He may be out of sight but not our minds and hearts. For as long as there's memory there will always be Kai. Until we meet again Good Buddy. Mrs. Carmen, Jeremy, Unc Al I love you all and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Kai...You will be greatly missed. Things aren't the same without you around. I know we'll meet again. And it will be a helluva party. =) You will not be forgotten, by anyone. You were an awesome person and will live long in our hearts.

It's hard to grasp that Kai is no longer with us. He was a great person & brought so many laughs to us all throughout middle and high school. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family & may they find peace within God.

Kai was what we all call "a character". He was THE funniest person I have ever met in my entire life. I loved him dearly he was a great friend..a truly great person. Sure, he had his ups and downs with life, but we all do. I hate that this has happened to him, an his family. He didn't deserve this.....ms. Carmen did not deserve this. There is nothing we can do or say to make this better. I will just continue to pray for his family. I pray they will find the strength to cope. We loved you Kai....so many of us.

my thoughts and prayers go out to all of kai's family especially mrs carmen,jeremy,and jenna!!!!kai was my buddy and i will never forget him!!! now im sure kai was not perfectly innocent,but i can honestly say i never witnessed anything but HEART in that boy,he really was an angel on earth for me,one of a kind!!! my head and heart is filled with wonderful memories of him.i have been experiencing hard times in my life and the truth is kai was always checking up on me,even before my own blood family!! like a tree,it has leaves that fall and change with the seasons,but it also has roots that nurture the tree,they arent seen and dont need to b, but without the roots the tree would die,kai was a root for me,one i can call FRIEND!!!!!looking back i feel so selfish,cuz all the times he called or text me to see how things where,even stopped by,he just listned,and would say"Big sessy u know i luv u gurl" "u my buddy" then smile and say" seriously is there anything i can do to help? u know i got ur back"all while he never complained about anything,he just got goofy so i would laugh!!!!kai's love for his family was strong especially for his mom,jeremy,and his jenna....im blessed just to have the privledge of knowing him..its so hard to say so long buddy,but i know in my heart the lord needed him for a different purpose now, im sure kai is the only one who could do it,truely an angel "BOY i love me some kai!!"he smiled when id say that so KAI thankyou for being you.I love you man and miss u like crazy,you will never be forgotton,i cherish all memories of you,until we meet again my friend R.I.P APRIL MAE BURK(7-30-10)
