The family invites you to attend his burial on Saturday, August 26, 2023, 10:00 AM, at the Muslim burial cemetery located at 7663 Columbia Road, St. Matthews, SC. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Delores Halim; children: Akbar Halim, Kalimah Hines, Kabir Halim, Jr., Kareem Halim; "steppie"- Oscar Douglas (Stacy); grandchildren: JaQuan, KQuawi (Hines), Justice, Anastasia and step-granddaughter: Jordan Douglas; mother: Ella Brown; siblings: Darryl Brown and Joella "Button" Brown; sisters-in-law: Mary Franks (Curtis) and Sandra Lawton (James) and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Joseph Brown; brothers: Rudolph Chapman and Perry Dixon. He was a retired Chemist with Dupont.
