June Shawver Obituary

SHAWVER, June Entered into eternal rest the morning of July 7, 2006, Virginia June Boothe Shawver, widow of John Edgar Shawver. Residence, North Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Services at First Baptist Church of North Charleston, 4217 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, Monday, July 10, 2006 at twelve o'clock (noon). Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, Sunday afternoon, July 9, 2006 from five until seven o'clock. Mrs. Shawver was born December 23, 1919 in War, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Walter Boothe and Annie Gallimore. She was a member of First Baptist Church of North Charleston. Mrs. Shawver was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Compton and her husband Major of Hanahan, SC, Karen Baccei and her husband Pat of San Diego, CA; a son, Ronald Shawver of Hanahan, SC; a sister, Betty Jo Lester of Roanoke, VA; eleven grandchildren, Harry Seel, Bryan Seel, Major Compton, Shanna Slye, Donnis Warren, Chris Shawver, Pamala Hodge, A. J. Shawver, Ambra Rad, Travis Baccei, Tara Baccei; and ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Shawver was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Wormersley, a grandson, Ronnie Shawver, Jr., three sisters and a brother.
