My most recent cherished memory of Julie was at my wedding. As my husband and I were walking towards our own receiving line, as fate would have it, she was waiting to be the first one in line to congratulate us with the warmest smile and biggest hug a friend could ever have.
God created one of the most beautiful and vibrant treasures, my friend, Julie, best known as Julie-loo, growing up. She was the sister I never had. Julies personality truly exhibited the truest and purest of all the colors of the rainbow. She was the rubiest of reds, the greenest of greens, the richest blues and purples and most of all the hottest of pinks!
There isnt a fond moment in my childhood that doesnt include her in it. Im heartbroken over her passing but more grateful than ever that I had an opportunity to spend most of my childhood with Julie as my best friend. We spent countless hours outside riding bikes, playing school, eating orange popsicles, reading Nancy Drew books, swimming, playing board/video games, sharing holidays and birthdays, dreaming about our futures and laughing until we cried all hours of the night. Oh, and that contagious and unique laugh will forever echo in my mind. If you werent in a good mood, shed put you in one with her one of a kind laugh. We shared classes in school and created projects together. I experienced the sweltering South Carolina heat at camp as well as my first snow with, Julie. In our twenties, we went to a theme park and she embraced one of the scariest rides my life and she just laughed all the way down. Despite, all these good times we shared, during my darkest of times she was my rock and refuge. She would cheer me up as no one else could. Because of her heart of gold and capacity to love, I am a better person today. I know because of her, I am a better mom than I would have been without Julies friendship in my life.
My sweet, Julie, our hearts will forever be connected and I look forward to your hug and laugh when I see you heavens receiving line.

Dearest June and Robert: I am so very sorry to hear of Julie's passing. It seems like yesterday that you told us that ya'll were expecting her arrival, and now we have to say goodbye. I know that she loved everyone that was a part of her life or that she cared about. I'm sure that she got her personality from you two, and that she was loved and cherished. Please know that my deepest sympathies go out to your entire family, and that my prayers for comfort, healing and strength go out to you all. God Bless You and Rest In Peace, dear Julie. May light perpetual shine upon you in Heaven, where the Angels sing and Jesus soothes our broken hearts.

Rest easy in your journey to heaven sweet Julie. My thoughts especially go to her husband Ken and her son Justin and her parents and all of our IHG Family that feels the loss for Julie. I know one day we will see each other in heaven. My last thought is keep memories alive.

We were so saddened to read that your Julie has passed. June, our hearts are aching for you since we know only too well how it feels to lose a child. Somehow, it is so unnatural for parents to experience such a thing. Know that our prayers are with all of you. Julie had a special spark about her when she was in our Teacher Cadet class. Julie you were always so good to me. I know that you had such patience even when I asked you dumb questions. I will always remember your smile and kindness. Goodbye sweet one.

Julie was one of the most amazing people with a heart of gold. Sweet, great energy, genuine, always smiling, and a contagious laugh. I met Julie when I started at IHG in 2008. We became great friends and had regular conversations and laughs. She touched so many. I will forever cherish the memories. Sending deepest condolences to the Family during this difficult time and may the many memories resonate with you.

Julie was indeed a beautiful person. Always cheerful and helpful. She would go out of her way to help someone in any way possible. I will remember her fondly and will miss her deeply. You were an angel on this earth Julie.

Praying for your strength.

I started working at IHG in 2006 and had the chance to interact with Julie bka Jules. If you didn't see her you knew she was close by because of her laugh. Julie was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. If you needed something and she couldn't get it right then, she would always tell you she will call you as soon as she could get what you needed. Julie was Beautiful inside and out and I don't know of one person who didn't Love her. I've never seen her angry, always with a smile even when she had things on her mind. A Beautiful Soul SIP

Julie and our daughter, Anna Gretchen, shared a most delightful and whimsical early childhood together. They were the best of friends, and we thank the LORD for giving us precious memories on which to dwell. Julie and Gretchen would often question both mothers to see who was fixing the best supper. That would determine where they would be eating that night. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family. In times of grief and despair, JESUS still comforts us today with HIS words in John 14:1-4.

May God bless the McDonald/Sageser family during their time of sorrow. Cherish the memories and joy that Julie brought to your hearts. I encourage you to look to God during this time. Remember what Psalm 30:5b says: "weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning".
