Julie Croxton Obituary

Julie Michelle Croxton SAPPHIRE, NC - Julie Michelle Croxton died peacefully in her sleep on June 24, 2013 from complications of diabetes and dialysis. Julie was the daughter of Mickey and Brenda Vehorn of Sapphire, NC, and Everett Croxton and Debbie Quesnel of Durham, NC. She was born in Charleston, SC, on December 26, 1974 and grew up in Charleston, Anderson, and Spartanburg, SC. She graduated from Spartanburg High School and Lander University in Greenwood, SC. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters-Amy Crown, Laney Robinson, and Katie Bowen, and a large extended family. Her dog Lucy has been her constant companion for many years and will miss her greatly. Julie was a loving and caring person who impacted many lives in her brief time on this earth. Everyone who knew her is comforted in the fact that her suffering and pain are over. A memorial gathering to celebrate Julie's life will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the Exchange Club, 201 Palm Blvd, Isle of Palms, SC from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. Brenda, Mickey & family please know that you're in my prayers as my heart is broken for you. I loved Julie like my own. She was always such a delight to be around and had that beautiful smile for everyone. She's now free from her pain & suffering and in peace in a better place. I pray that God's peace be with you as you go through this most difficult time. I'll be thinking of you on Saturday & wishing I could be with you. All my love to you all.

I refuse to say goodbye.
Instead, I will see you later.
For our time on earth,
Is up to our creator.

I do not consider this the end,
More a transition to a heavenly place.
You are still my dear, sweet friend
Wrapped now in God's loving embrace.

Brenda, Mickey and rest of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I was so saddened to hear of the loss of beautiful Julie. Some of my most treasured memories are living in Spartanburg and having you all for neighbors. I hope you all will find comfort in knowing that she is in no more pain and treasure the beautiful memories you have of your special daughter always. Love you all!
