Julia Moore Obituary

MOORE, Julia HORATIO, SC - Julia Louise McKenzie McClam Moore, 94, widow of Robert Mellette Moore Jr., died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. Born in Lake City, she was a daughter of the late Johnny McClam and the late Nettie Anderson McClam. Mrs. Moore was a member of High Hills of Santee Baptist Church and a former member of the Lake City Garden Club. Surviving are six grandchildren, Hayden Donehue Shook, John Douglas Donehue Jr., Teresa Donehue Quimby, Marilyn Donehue Small, Anne Donehue Hall, all of Charleston and Robertson Carr Donehue of Three Rivers, Michigan; five great-grandchildren, Palmer Quimby, Kathleen Quimby, Curtis Small, Andrew Shook and Julia Shook. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sylvia McKenzie Donehue and Dinah Ray McKenzie. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M Monday in the High Hills of Santee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
