Julia Jones Obituary

JONES, Julia BISHOPVILLE, SC - Julia Johnson Tice Jones, 70, widow of the late J.W. Jones, died Friday, April 11, 2008, at her home. Born in Cuba, NY, she was a daughter of the late John A. Johnson and the late Eunice Watson Johnson. Mrs. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Julie Tice, and Fran T. Jackson, and her husband, Timothy; a sister, Patty Ingle; four brothers, Douglas Watson, John Watson, Larry Watson, and Michael Watson; grandchildren, Benjamin T. Weeks and Sydney F. Weeks; a former son-in-law Robbie Weeks and his wife, Ronette; and a special friend, Wilhelmina Dixon. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin C. Tice, Jr.; and three sisters, Vivian Hancock, Eunice Boykin, and Marilyn Morse. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, at First Baptist Church in Bishopville. Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and other times at 904 W.
