Julia Nell Whitehurst Everett BETHEL, NC - Julia Nell Whitehurst Everett, 92, of Greenville, NC passed away April 15, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center. She was born in Bethel, NC on November 1, 1921, the daughter of the late William Cadie and Atheleen B. Whitehurst. She was married to the late William Roscoe Everett. Mrs. Everett was a graduate of Bethel High School and also a graduate of Greensboro College. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, April 17, 2014 at the Bethel Cemetery. Surviving are; a son, William "Tex" Roscoe Everett, Jr. and wife Vel T. Everett of Charleston, SC; a daughter, Alyce Everett Green and husband John Green of Greenville, NC; six grandchildren, Brian Everett, Tyler Green and Christopher Everett of Charleston, SC, Zachery Thurber and Mason Thurber of Charleston SC.; Cameron Green of Greenville, NC; a brother William C. Whitehurst, Jr and the late Ann B. Whitehurst of Bethel, NC. nieces; Mary W. Evans and the late Suzanne Whitehurst of Bethel, NC and nephew Ken Whitehurst of Greenville, NC. The family will receive friends at Walker-Ayers Chapel, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
