Julia (Gloria) Blake N. Charleston - The family of Ms. Julia (Gloria) Fleming Blake announces her celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 11:00AM at the Alfred Williams Center, 4441 Durant Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina 29405. Interment: St. Peter's AME Church Cemetery, 4650 Sanders Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina 29405. Ms. Blake was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Freddie Elijah Blake, Sr.; her parents, Mr. Charles Stephen Fleming, Sr. and Mrs. Rosalie Fleming; her children, Yvonne Blake, Gwenda Fleming and Isaac Blake and step-children, Arthur Blake, Freddie Blake, Jr., and Elaine Mims and siblings, Lucy Ruan, Charles Fleming, Jr., Carlton Fleming, Carole Nelson, Roger Fleming. Ms. Blake is survived by her children, Charles Blake, Vincent Blake, Gail Blake, Felicia Cummings (Arnold), Louis Blake, Emma Jean Blake, Cathy Blake and Harold Blake and stepdaughter, Margaret Brown (Patrick); 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great- great-grand-children; siblings, Donald Fleming, Shelia Morgan and Samuel Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.
