Another Soldier Gone
Another soldier gone
To get a great reward;
She fought the fight and kept her faith And is now gone home to God.
She fought the fight until she fell
Upon the battlefield.
And then she heard the Master say,
“Lay down your sward and shield.
Well done thou good and faithful servant,The battle is fought, and the victory is won.”
Some day we’ll reach that happy land Where parting is no more.
When I come to the end
Of that long, long road
And troubles will all be passed,
I’ll see the face of my best friend
And say thank God I’m home at last.

Judy was the kind of woman that every woman strives to be. I only knew her about 5 years, but in those five years I had 8 surgeries and EVERY single time she started a prayer chain for me and made sure that my family had food and lots of prayer. Each time I spoke with her, it touched my heart in a special way. We could all learn a lot from this woman of GOD! I only hope to be as faithful and consistent and she was. God has welcomed her into his arms and I am sure that when she saw his face that he said: Well done, my good and faithful servant. I will see you one day and I can't wait to see your mansion!!! I pray that God will continue to pour out Love and Peace to your beautiful family that you left behind to finish God's work. You have left an impact on countless lives. God is pleased with you Judy.

Dear, dear Judy, a wonderful child of the King! Oh how Judy had a heart of love just like Jesus. There was never a person that she didn't love and care for, even if they would be ugly and she should have been angry, she would not get angry, she loved and prayed for them. She prayed for everyone, blessed everyone, because she was touched by the love of Jesus like no other person I have ever seen or known.
I will miss her beautiful childlike laughter!!
She is free now, and dancing in her red shoes with Jesus. Something she always said she was going to do. Yes, my glorious friend, full of His love and grace, we will all miss you. The world has lost much in losing you, but Heaven has gained beautiful Judy. She would want everyone to know Jesus and join her in heaven one day! I pray that her prayers be answered for each person that she prayed for.
God bless all of her family, our prayers are with you always,
Linda

To my friend and intercessor I say "farewell"; but only for a time. I know there will be a day when we will speak again and with real joy remember these days on earth.
I have no doubt that the life that Judy Schaffer lived was a life that honored her savior ... a life like His, filled with purpose and passion for the welfare of others. I will most definitely miss her kind voice on the phone asking me often just how I was feeling and was I O.K.? I will miss her infamous macaroni and cheese that she often made just because I politefully begged for it. But certainly most of all I will miss just knowing she was there if I ever needed her compassionate support in prayer.
I will miss Judy Ann, but I will live on feeling a sense of great honor that the Lord Himself allowed me to be called her friend and pastor.

I will miss you!!! We have had many phone conversations through the years, we would always cut up and be silly. We were full of laughter and you allways called me sug or sugar-doll. You have been a blessing to me and and i will never forget you!! From our last conversation, Randy and RaeAnna are doing just fine. My mom is doing good too. She sends her love. Rose and i bought our first house and we love it. You take care and we love you!!! ron

Ms Judy was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold. I will miss all the conversations I have had with her on the phone when I would call the house to speak with Heather. Ms Judy would always make me smile, no matter what kind of mood I was in. Ms Judy, I love you and I take comfort in knowing that you are looking down on us from Heaven.
