WOODS, Juanita Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 19, 2007, Juanita Nita Kennedy Woods. Residence, Charleston, formerly of West Columbia, SC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in First Baptist Church of West Columbia, Friday, June 22, 2007 at Eleven O'clock. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Friday afternoon at Three-thirty O'clock. Friends may call at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel (3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy.) Thursday from 3:30 o'clock until 5 o'clock and at First Baptist Church of West Columbia Friday, from Ten O'clock until time of service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Mrs. Woods was born in Denmark, South Carolina, December 7, 1927, the daughter of Jessie C. Kennedy and Virginia Platt Kennedy. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Columbia and was a retired Construction Payroll Clerk. Surviving are two daughters, Sylvia B.Parnell of Cross, SC and Patricia B. Daniel of Charleston, SC; one son, James Leroy Roy Blume of North Charleston, SC; two brothers, Ruby Kennedy and Doug Kennedy both of Gilbert, SC; four grandchildren, Patricia Hope Johnson, Jackson H. Daniel, III, Robert Bert Parnell and Rhett C. Parnell; special niece, Debby W. Welch. Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by a son, H. Carter Blume, a sister, Doris Woods and a brother, Jessie Kennedy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of West Columbia, 400 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169 and/or to Hospice of Charleston, Inc., 3870 Leeds Avenue, Suite 101, North Charleston, SC 29405.
