Juanita and I were childhood friends in the old village of Mt. Pleasant, SC . She lived on Wilden St. and I lived on Morrison.; she was my first best friend. Our mother’s were also friends. Although she was a year older than I, we graduated from Laing High School together in 1967. We drifted apart over the years, but we’re in contact from time to time. My last message to her was a request for us to have coffee or tea the next time I visited Charleston. Juanita thank you for our many years of friendship. Rest In Peace my friend until we meet again.
