Juanita Baggett Plummer COLUMBIA, SC - Funeral service for Juanita Baggett Plummer, 91, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church, with burial at 3:00 p.m. in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Florence, S.C. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Mrs. Plummer passed away peacefully Friday, March 21, 2014. Born in Florence, she was a daughter of the late Julius Herbert Baggett, Sr. and Myrtis Turner Baggett Coleman. Mrs. Plummer was a founding member of the Trenholm Road United Methodist Church where she attended over 57 years. She was a member of the Medlock Sunday School Class and was known as the "Biscuit Queen." In 1995 she was voted "Women of the Year" by the United Methodist Women and volunteered faithfully at the Trenholm Road UMC. Surviving are her children, Gregory B. Plummer (Ella) of Georgetown, Marsha Plummer Gaston (Scott) of Columbia; grandchildren, Cullen Plummer, Graham Plummer, Christopher Gaston; great grandchildren, Cullen H. Plummer, Gideon Plummer; and brother, Judge Julius H. Baggett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trenholm Road UMC, 3401 Trenholm Rd, Columbia SC 29205.
