Burt(hon),

Where do I begin? Even though you are my "stepdad" you have always been like a father to me. You always took care of me and taught me many things. I am so sorry for your loss. MaMa was always so nice to me. She never treated me any different than her "real" grandkids. I remember when I used to go to her house and she would pay me to pick up cigarette butts out of her yard. I also remember how much I loved when we lived right behind her on Stephanie circle. I miss alot of things about "us". About a week before mama passed away, my mom called and asked me directions to my house because mama wanted to come see the kids. I am just so sorry that she didn't get to see them. I am sure she is looking down on all of us now. Rest in peace, MaMa. I miss and love you.

Love,

April Hair
