Juanita Ferguson Obituary

I was just thinking about Ms Ferguson. My thoughts were about how wonderful she was to me and my son. She was there for me at a time in my life when I really benefited from a Positive and Caring Person. Ms Ferguson was always encouraging me to Strive for Excellence! Nothing but Love and Admiration for My Friend Ms Ferguson!

I was so sorry to find out about Delonda's death. I have and will always think with great affection and pleasure of those wonderful days we spent together here in Madison and there as we visited each other. Please accept my sympathy.

To the Ferguson Family, earths loss is Heavens gain. Delonda and I graduated from C.A.Brown in 1976, she was always a very funny, happy, loving and caring person. Once you came in contact with her you would never forget her, she was a young woman with wisdom. Keep your memories they will take you through on the days when you miss her most, God bless you both.

To "Tony" and the Ferguson family, may God be with you in your time of loss. I will miss my godmother and all of my fond memories of coming to Charleston, playing cards and eating seafood pizza. She will truly be missed!!!

It took me a few days to write this because the words just wouldn't come without my heart being filled. To the Ferguson family, please know that God is a comforter and your sister is resting in his peace! Know that the Lord is our strength, our song and has become our salvation, I know your sister knew that. Londa "Fergie" was a wonderful woman, a great teacher, a lover of her students or as she awlays put it "her children" and she was my friend! She will forever remain that in my heart!

Tony, Demetria and the rest of the family: You are in my prayers. The memories of Delonda will help you get through this period. I will miss hearing her voice on the phone saying "cousin, this is your cousin Delonda calling". I will miss the calls but I will always have the memories of us growning up together when cousin Willie would bring you up to the country (Moncks Corner) to spend time at our home.

May you find peace knowing that Delonda is now with the Lord....Delonda was a friend of mine at South Carolina State and a wonderful friend even after college....She will be missed but her legacy continues with family, friends and former students.

To Demetria and the Ferguson Family, may God give you all strength, comfort and peace regarding you loss. Londa was a wonderful person who was well-liked by many people. I remember her from Columbus Street School and C.A. Brown High School. I will keep you all in prayer as you move forward. God's got it all under control. Londa is safe in His care. God bless you now and forever. I extend my love to you all now and always.

Ms. Ferguson was a great woman, a role model and a second mother to me. She always encouraged and expected more so that not only I but all of her students would exceed above expectations.

To her family, I will keep you all in my prayers and know that God always have a better plan.

You made an everlsating impact on my life Ms.Ferguson!You were always on me about getting my work done or "Jake The Snake" that metal ruler would be put to use!Thanks for inspiring me and my 5th grade classmates at Minnie Hughes to be the best that we could be!The world lost a great teacher and motivator.You will be forever in my heart.

Delonda was a very funny person who had a very beautiful smile, and I will always remember that, The Class of C.A.BROWN 1976 will surely miss her.

You will be missed by us and many others. You were a very strong, intelligent, kind, and giving woman. The times we shared during our summer vacations to South Carolina will never be forgotten. Rest in peace with your cousin Erica. We love you!

Delonda left a lasting impression on everyone she met. A part of her will always be with each of us in the memories we have of her.

Family, please accept my most sincere condolences during this very difficult period. Delonda and I had some really enjoyable times at South Carolina State & Morris Street Baptist and those memories will linger with me for the rest of my life. Thank God she is no longer suffering and I pray that you all along with the MSBC Family will allow God to heal your broken hearts. Trust God because he is able, sorry I can't be there with you all. To the Ferguson Family: I taught with Ferguson at Minnine Hughes for many years. She would always say to me Gadsden you really taught those children I have when they got to fifth grade. She was an excellent teacher and cared about the edcation of those children. Her children always did very good on standarized test because of the way they were taught. I can write a book about her as an educator and what she instilled in children. Family I know you would miss her but keep looking up the the heaven. God only takes those that he loves. You have my deepest sympathy. A former coworker and friend. She called me Gadsden.(Cynthia Gadsden)

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Ms. Ferguson. She was an awesome teacher and coworker.

To the Ferguson Family, I met Juanita when she taught my children out at Minnie Hughes, she was loving and very sweet, cared a great deal about her students, had the opportunity to visit with her at the Home, she was still the same person, smiling and very uplifted,she was an excellent Teacher, her students loved her,as well as the parents,remember the good times and how happy she lived her life, never will be forgotten.
