Joyce Apple Obituary

Joyce Tisdale Apple MALVERN, PA - Joyce Tisdale Apple of Malvern, passed away on Wednesday November 10, 2010, at Paoli Hospital with her family by her side. She was 72 years old. Joyce was born February 26, 1938, in Greeleyville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma (nee Player) Tisdale and the beloved wife of Peter F. Apple with whom she shared 45 1/2 years of marriage. Joyce was a graduate of Greeleyville High School, she was a member of the Women's Exchange of Wayne, PA and a faithful member of the Church of the Good Samaritan. In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by her three children; Lawrie Apple Myers (Neil) of Raleigh, NC, Meg Apple Claffey (Tom) of Glenmoore, PA and Katy Apple Christiansen (Ryan) of Howell, NJ, eight grandchildren, two sisters Betty Tait (Herb) and Dolly Infinger (James), and 15 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Charles L. Tisdale Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to Joyce's Memorial Service on Saturday Novemebr 13, at 11 a.m., at the Church of the Good Samaritan 212 West Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA. Calling period will be from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce's name can be made to Neighborhood V.N.
