Josephine Mezzanotte Obituary

MEZZANOTTE Josephine Jean "Dolly" Giordano Mezzanotte, age 71, of Milford, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, August 5, 2008. She was the beloved wife of Frank Mezzanotte. Mrs. Mezzanotte was born in Hamden, November 2, 1936, daughter of the late Nicholas A. and Anna Cassella Giordano. She worked as a realtor for several area real estate agencies until her retirement. At one time, she worked at Albertus Magnus College. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Roseann Raso of Middletown and Linda Mezzanotte of Milford; four grandchildren, Michelle Bailey, Nicholas, Christopher and Anthony Raso; and one great-granddaughter, Anna Bailey. She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Giordano and a granddaughter, Nicole Raso. Funeral from The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St. (cor. Dwight) New Haven Friday morning at 10:15. Mass in Our Lady of Victory Church, Jones Hill Rd., West Haven at 11. Friends may call in the funeral home Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Entombment in St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum.
