I am deeply saddened to learn of Joe's passing. We have been friends from the third grade thru high school and The Citadel classmates '67. We both served in the military and retired. We met up regularly for breakfast or lunch until his car "broke down". He helped shape my future. Many many stories to tell but will have to wait. For his birth family and Dee and family: prayers are up for all during this sad time. I am confident you will meet again in a far better place.
