Going thru life we meet a few great people. Joe was one of them. I remember him driving up to work one morning with a full size blow up doll in the passenger seat of the car. We had the best laugh.
What he went thru loosing both legs would have stopped anyone else. Joe took in stride not letting it slow him down. His ability to laugh at every day life was his trade mark. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

I will always remember my first day at CESCO and how fortunate I was to have Joe as my cubicle neighbor. He instantly made me feel welcomed and provided me with a wealth of knowledge as I listened to his conversations with customers and suppliers. He taught me so much about this business and about the will to live. His spirit will live on at CESCO.

To Mrs. Nancy & The Sharpe Family, I pray God watches over you in this time, may HE bless you with HIS peace, joy, strength and togetherness as a family. May HE wrap HIS loving arms around you when you need HIM most. The Word of God says that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. So when you cry remember the good times , the joy and laughter that Joe brought to his family. He was a good man who I enjoyed talking and laughing with.

Joe D, as I called him was an inspiration to us all at CESCO. Seeing in him such pain the last year was hard to watch. He pressed on daily, right to the end. No more pain my friend. I will miss your daily words of enlightenment and providing "the big picture" to us all. Prayers to the Sharpe family.

Joe and I found out we both came from Hampton county and had many friends in common. He could tell stories that some would have thought he just made up, but I new he was telling the truth because I new who he was talking about. Joe was someone whom I looked up to and respected. I am glad that I could call him my friend and I will sorely miss him. Nancy and their children are in my prayers.

Sadly I never got the chance to meet Joe in person but dealt with him for work via phone for years. He was one of a kind and I always looked forward to his calls and e-mails. We loved to give each other a hard time. I sure will miss him and know he will be greatly missed in the blast/paint community. I am so very sorry for your loss.
